“The experience was amazing from start to finish”
I stayed at the Fresh Water Hotel in Grand Hirafu last week and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The location is absolutely legendary right in the heart of everything, with super easy access to the lifts, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff really made the stay special. Rachel was a huge help getting us checked in early and making sure everything was set up perfectly for us right away, which was clutch after traveling. James was equally awesome and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and drink around town every suggestion was a hit. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want after long days on the mountain. I’d 100% stay here again and would recommend it to anyone coming to Niseko. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Freshwater Hotel Niseko. The hotel itself is modern, cosy, and perfectly located for exploring the area. A special shout-out goes to James from Perth, who drove us to the welcome center when we were leaving. James was genuinely lovely — friendly, relaxed, and incredibly helpful. After an already great stay, his warm conversation and kindness were a perfect send-off and left us with such a positive final impression.

Great service and location. Very central with all needed amenities. Great pickup and drop off service from the train station. People who worked there were very polite, friendly and offered great service. Seicomart, lawson and the niseko united bus stop was just within 100-200m of walk. Very convenient for our family. All you needed in the unit was also provided. Very central at hirafu area. Will definitely recommend to others.

We loved how spacious the apartment was, it exceeded expectations. It was comfortable and well kitted out. The team there are really friendly and extremely helpful. The location was also a bonus. We really enjoyed our 6 night stay. It was easy to walk up to Kind Gondola for skiing or the family slopes. We loved everything!

“I highly recommend Freshwater”
Freshwater is in a GREAT location close to lots of fun bars and food trucks and restaurants. The apartment was spacious, warm, 2 beds and 2 bathrooms. The team were very responsive, very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Everything was so easy. There is an onsen at Vale that you can get a discounted price on thru Nisade group. I used niseko sports and then left them overnight each day at vale niseko sports which is basically at the base of the Ace Gondola. I highly recommend Freshwater and would happily stay there again.
